The revision of the EU ETS comes at a critical time for European industry. The European carbon market remains a key instrument of the European Union's climate policy, but its future evolution poses important decisions for sectors exposed to international trade, especially in terms of costs, investment, planning and competitiveness, in an increasingly demanding global context.
With this objective, the Repsol Foundation Chair at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the CO2 Technology Platform are co-organizing this webinar to analyze how to preserve the carbon price signal and maintain climate ambition, while preventing regulation from accelerating the loss of industrial activity in Europe compared to regions with lower energy and regulatory costs.
