Objective of the Chair
The Chair's mission is to generate knowledge within society about the energy transition, specifically regarding sustainable industrial transformation. It focuses on the circular economy applied to the decarbonisation of air and maritime mobility, contributing to a net-zero emissions future.
Lines of work
- Analysis and assessment of the role of renewable fuels, alternative fuels, and other low-emission energy carriers, considering their technological, energy, industrial, and regulatory implications.
- Generation of knowledge on solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions in operations, infrastructure, and logistics chains associated with the port, airport, maritime, and aviation sectors.
- Monitoring, analysis, and knowledge transfer related to the energy transition in aviation and the maritime sector.
