In a context in which the energy transition has become an urgent priority, energy efficiency is positioned as one of the most effective levers for reducing emissions, improving competitiveness and moving towards a more sustainable economic model.
In this scenario, Energy Savings Certificates (EACs) emerge as one of the most innovative instruments with the greatest potential to mobilise investments, boost the market and facilitate the fulfilment of national and European energy saving objectives. However, taking full advantage of this opportunity requires specialized knowledge and a working understanding of how it works.
With this objective, Fundación Repsol, together with ANESE, is launching the course "From energy saving to monetization: CAEs.", a training proposal designed for the identification, development and management of energy efficiency projects within the framework of the CAE system, with an approach that allows this knowledge to be transferred and adapted to other international contexts interested in replicating similar models.
The course will be attended by speakers from International Organizations, Public Administrations and numerous associations and pioneering companies in the processes of certification and implementation of CAEs
The course will be developed in the following modules:
· Module 1. Conceptual and regulatory framework for energy efficiency.
· Module 2. Energy efficiency obligations and the system of energy savings certificates.
· Module 3. Standardized agents and actions.
· Module 4. Contractual, fiscal and financial aspects of the CAE system.
· Module 5. Measure and verify savings in singular actions.
· Module 6. Standardised actions and submission of CAE files
