Cities are home to half of humanity and are the economic engine, responsible for 80% of the world's GDP. They also represent near 75% of energy consumption and 70% of CO2 emissions.
There is no doubt that cities represent challenges and opportunities. They have become the key to accelerate progress and achieve the ambitious climate goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Nova School of Business and Economics and Fundación Repsol organize this public event to launch their “Towards net-zero cities” initiative, as a main key in order to head towards a sustainable and resilient society to face climate change.
