Within the framework of the initiatives of the Universitat de Barcelona-Repsol Foundation Chair for Energy Transition, the First Edition of the Awards for the Best Master's Degree Final Projects (TFM) of the Master's Degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability, corresponding to the 2021–2022 academic year, has been held.

This recognition aims to promote young talent, promote academic excellence and highlight innovative research aimed at the energy transition and sustainable development.

After the evaluation of the jury, which valued the technical quality, methodological rigour and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in energy matters, three prizes have been awarded in accordance with the rules of the call.

🥇 First Prize – 1,500 € Winner: Ramón Jordi Morera

The award-winning work stands out for its innovative approach and its contribution to the development of sustainable energy solutions.

🥈 Second Prize – €1,000 Winner: Nabil Grueso Recognized for the quality of technical analysis and its potential practical application in the field of renewable energies.

🥉 Third Prize – 500 € Winner: Claudia Cantellano

Its study stands out for its scientific rigor and clarity in the proposal for improvements in energy efficiency.

The UB-Repsol Foundation Chair for Energy Transition continues to promote initiatives that promote university research in clean energy and sustainability. These awards are a boost to emerging talent and reinforce the joint commitment to move towards a fairer, more efficient and environmentally friendly energy model.
