At a decisive moment for the energy transition, Portugal is striving to position itself as a territory of innovation, capable of combining exceptional natural resources with high‑quality technical and scientific expertise.
The study “Portugal Offshore Wind, Green Hydrogen and Sustainable Fuels, Power to X Pathways”, presented by the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG), provides a fundamental contribution to this effort by demonstrating the strategic potential of offshore wind for the production of renewable fuels and the creation of new value chains.
But are national policies and regulations moving at the right pace?
This event aims to frame these challenges and reinforce the need to accelerate the instruments and conditions required to enable an effective and competitive energy transition.
