It is increasingly necessary to rethink cycles and production processes in the industrial sector. The transition towards a circular economy represents a major economic opportunity that could redefine entire industrial sectors and generate new growth in a context of global resource constraints. A circular economy in industry involves a fundamental shift from the current linear production model towards a more sustainable one, where resources are kept in use for as long as possible, and are reused and recycled. This model seeks to reduce waste, optimise resource use, and create value through reuse and recycling.
Fundación Repsol and Funseam are organising the 6th Circular Economy Series "Circular Production: Redesigning the Future", which includes three online seminars:
· Industrial Symbiosis: The Pathway to Circularity (16 September)
· Sustainability and Circular Consumption in the Productive Sector (23 September)
· Transition to a Circular Economy: The Role of Bioenergy (30 September)
