In Europe, the brewing industry plays a key role in the food and beverage sector. However, in addition to its economic impact and employment generation along the entire value chain, the sector faces key technological challenges for its transformation.
The brewing sector must adopt innovative technologies to optimize resources and reduce its environmental footprint. Faced with EU climate targets, it is key to accelerate the improvement of process efficiency by increasing the use of decarbonized energies and incorporating digitalization to maintain its competitiveness while increasing its sustainability.
The Energy Transition Chair of Fundación Repsol at Comillas ICAI, in collaboration with the Spanish Brewers Association and The Brewers of Europe, is organizing this webinar to explore the roadmap and industrial projects for more sustainable beer production.
