Spain is one of the leading beer producers in Europe, and the brewing sector positions itself as a key player within the country's food and beverage industry. This sector boosts the economy and generates employment throughout its entire value chain, but today it also faces the challenge of adapting to a new paradigm of sustainability and energy efficiency.
The European Union has set a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030, on the path to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Therefore, brewing companies need to adapt their processes and adopt clean technologies to align themselves with this sustainability horizon.
The Cátedra de Transición Energética Fundación Repsol at Comillas ICAI, in collaboration with the Asociación de Cerveceros, organizes this webinar to explore the roadmap and industrial projects for more sustainable beer production.
This event will be held in Spanish.
