ETS and FuelEU: the maritime sector facing accountability for its carbon footprint
Maritime transport faces major challenges in terms of decarbonisation. In 2024, the ETS targets came into force and in 2025 the FuelEU Maritime regulation will come into force, which includes a 2% reduction on the initial reference value. In order to achieve these short-term objectives, the role of fuels with low or zero carbon footprint play an essential role in the transport of goods, passengers and service or recreational vessels.
The Repsol Foundation Chair of Energy Transition at the Polytechnic University of Madrid is organising this webinar to debate these issues on the road to more sustainable maritime mobility.
This event will be in Spanish
