The design of joint reduction strategies is essential to decarbonise the economy and improve public health in cities.
Monitoring and technological innovation are key to decarbonising cities and improving air quality.
Taking action on road traffic is essential to decarbonising the economy and improving public health in cities. It is essential to take into account the full life cycle of both the vehicle and the energy source.
Why is technology so important?
- 🌱 Decarbonisation and air quality : Technology has a crucial impact on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and air quality. However, there is currently an asymmetry in the impact of technological measures on GHG emissions and key substances for air quality. Therefore, it is also necessary to explore non-technological measures and design joint reduction strategies .
- 🔄 Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) : It is key to address this challenge from the perspective of Life Cycle Analysis . This approach allows us to properly assess technological and non-technological solutions to fight climate change and improve people's health.
